20 Years Later...the honeymoon we never had..and a great retreat

Thanks to Kel's parents visiting and offering to watch the kids a few days by themselves (Pete even learned to drive on the wrong side of the road so he could get the kids to school - thanks Pete)...we were able to get away for 4 nights to Majorca, Spain to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary.  Our actual anniversary is on June 5th, but we had to seize the moment early.  We flew in yesterday - 2.5 hours from our home and got to an amazing resort called the Port Adriano Marina/Golf/Spa. It is a bit weird having so much time to just chill...but we are starting to get used to it.  Miss the kids, but appreciate the time together.

We had planned to take a honeymoon to Mt. Rushmore when we were married, but Kel got calls the week before to have interviews scheduled that week for a school teaching job.  Since we were poor college kids just getting married a few weeks after graduating, we had to prioritize.

Enjoy some pictures of Majorca.  You should find your way here if you ever have a chance - beautiful Mediterranean ocean.  Wow.

  2. Dave and Kel,

Awesome, amazing, beautiful, not enough words to describe and the scenery is great too..LOL.....Wow! what a great place to get away to and enjoy some time for yourselves. Hey where are the coats... I know you miss the kids but they are being well taken care of by grandparents. Of course they won't be spoiled....LOL Yeah right.....

The water is so clear and blue....What a great place to relax in. The lodging looks wonderful...What a view and balcony. Sure makes Omaha's Motel 6 look pretty pitiful....LOL but they do leave the light on for you.....Ha

You all enjoy all the time together, you deserve it and more, so just relax and take it easy...You know it's back to the grind pretty soon. 20 years is quite an accomplishment...Way to go.......................

We love you and wish we were there....

    Love,

    Mom and Pop

Hope you all are well. Haven't caught up on here in a while, but just love to see the photos. Wishing Chloe a late happy birthday... I remember that baby girl! And wishing you both a happy, early 20th anniversary!
