PARIS - DAY 4

Final day - we took it easy in the morning but decided to take in one last site before the driver picked us up at 2:00...so jumped on the metro and headed for the Arc De Triumph.  We got there...a French flag was flying down the middle of it...the road was blocked off...yellow shirts everywhere...we were the last to figure it out that the Tour De France was ending at the Arc on Sunday (today).  We walked around a enjoyed the sites a bit before we headed back to catch our plane home.  Landed safely this evening and watched the Tour finish on TV and enjoyed seeing the places we had just been.

  2. Absolutely wonderful pictures of the four days you were there. Something you will never forget. What an exciting way to spend 4 days. In Paris the city of Love.........Ah, I bet you all hated to leave. I would have I think.

Enjoy your week and the nice thing about it is you can relive it in your heart all the time. Great times, great memories. Most of all as a family.

    Love,

    Mom and Pop

  3. During the past 36 hours, the United Kingdom has welcomed a new, unnamed Prince, and we applaud the gift supplied to them by our Creator, God!

Here in the United States, and more specifically here in Kansas City, we welcome and hold out our arms to our USA royalty, the 5 Caldwell's! The crowns that they will be awarded in Heaven won't have a need to be polished - just laid down at the cross, ever gleaming!

I have a couple of items to give them this weekend at church, and simply must see how much height that Chloe, Dawson, and Sadie have cleared since I last laid my eyes on them. I am appreciably happy of their Mom and Dad as true, everyday leaders of family, belief, professional, and community life!

To God be the glory, great things He hath done...
