We enjoyed a few days in London as the kids are on half-term break this week. We took the train down on Saturday morning and found our way to London about lunch time. We stayed at a nice hotel on the banks of the River Thames with a view of Big Ben from our room. The highlight of day 1 was to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the Musical on the West End (Sadie's favorite). It was a great time for all. As we walked out we noticed that a lot of people were lined up - come to find out they were lined up waiting to stay all night and be first in line for the red carpet at the BAFTA awards (British Academy of Film and Television Arts).
The smile on Sadie's face sitting in the theater was so precious. She was so excited she could hardly contain herself.

Big Ben is so pretty. Looked like you all were high enough not to get in on the flooding.
