It wasn't a typical first day for the kids as they were adjusting to the US again, a new area, new school, new climate etc. It was tough on each of them, but they kept putting one foot in front of the other and pushed through. We are happy to say they are settling in - it will take time before they feel 100% but they have come so far and have been so brave.
Dawson was nice enough to hold Sadie's hand to take her to her classroom - not a lot of 8th graders would do that.

Look how sweet they look. It is amazing how much they have grown year to year. I know they like to wear their own clothes instead of a uniform.
ReplyDeleteThat was so grown up of Dawson holding Sadie's hand and walking her to her room. I am glad they are settling in and feeling a part of the community. When they get to their new home and get all their familiar things they will be better yet....
