A weekend activity we do every other week or so, is take our recycling materials to the local recycling center. We could take it out to the road every other week, but that would mean we roll a plastic barrel down about 400 feet of gravel driveway, so we find it easier to take it to the recycling center ourselves.
It is such a great recycling center that is always super busy and they accept everything you can imagine. It is free to residents and you can take 4 loads per day of waste. They take paper, cardboard, motor oil, glass of all colors, small appliances, rocks, metal, yard waste, wood waste, tires, old bicycles....you name it ...they take it...and it is well signed and staffed for all the stuff. I am sure it leads to a lot less illegal. dumping (they call that FLY TIPPING here....really....there are signs that say NO FLY TIPPING).
So enjoy a couple of photos of our run today.

Hey it looks like you left some of you stuff still in the car. Maybe they take every thing except clowns. LOL Gets rid of lots of stuff and free. No Fly tipping does that rank up there with cow tipping. LOL

That is the cleanest recycling center I have ever seen. Nice to have that convenience.
