SOCCER TIME

Dawson had his second game this weekend.  They almost made it through but lighting stopped the game before they could finish and just when they were catching their stride. 

CHLO-ELFIE

Occasionally Chloe will get offended if she isn't equally represented on the blog.  So in the spirit of ensuring she is equally covered, enjoy some of her latest selfies!

 

OFF TARGET

When your teenage daughter is at Target...and not wanting to spend her own money for a shirt she just has to have...she can get very creative.  Chloe proposed she wear a bike helmet around the store all night if we would buy the helmet for her.  It was worth it for that fun.

 

RED RED ROCKS

We ventured about 1.5 hours north today to the beautiful area of Sedona.  The rocks are so amazing and the air was so crisp and clear today.  We are anxious to return again real soon.

STINGY

When you live in the desert you have to take caution as there other a number of wild animals in the area.  Kel saw a bobcat when she was leaving our neighborhood the other day and we have found our share of scorpions in the pool.  So Dawson has the job of doing a quick scorpion check before we get in the pool - luckily they aren't moving as the water is too cold for them, but we feel better when they aren't in the pool with us. 

 

BATES

Our Saturday morning routine of having a BATE (Bakery + Date) has continued - although we have fewer stops and miss the yummy treats from the UK and the friends we got to see every Saturday.  Hopefully we will make some new friends here.  Until then, we will enjoy the doughnuts!
