We had planned for about a month to take off for a week in the Canary Islands off of Africa over the Christmas week, but didn't tell the kids until a few days before we left. As a result, we had our Christmas here in Knaresborough a bit earlier than usual then Santa visited us in the Canaries this week.
I love the expression on Sadie's face when she opened her gift. THAT was totally a surprise for sure. The kids got lots of things they can use in the future. Who know Chloe might even be a photographer when she grows up...who knows what Dawson will become the one good thing about this is that he and the girls can be whatever they want.
