Trip to York

We spent the afternoon in York - a town about 40 minutes away from our home here in Knaresborough/Harrogate.  Reading online, it states that York was first established in 71AD and has quite a history.  You can read more at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/York.

The town has a lot of small narrow streets that date back many hundreds of years -and a magnificent church called York Minster that is a site to see.  Enjoy some pics from our journey.

  1. Dave,

It would have made the Davygate picture perfect if you would have had the outfit on the guy balancing the red and blue ball wore. LOL

The architecture is absolutely amazing no matter where you go there. It is just wonderful. It must have taken a really long time to build all these amazing structures. Wow.

Did you all stop at the Earl Grey Tea Shop? It looked so quaint and sweet.

I also see that the kids must have a keen eye when they go exploring to see all the ice cream shops there. Seems they always find one.

The Carrousel was really colorful. Looked as if all enjoyed riding it. No matter how old everyone loves the Carrousel......

You always go to lots of really neat areas. Keep the pictures coming. It is really great seeing things and places through your eyes. Almost like being there.....Only without the ice cream....LOL

Enjoy the rest of your time with Krista, Jason and kids and we love you all.

    Love,

    Mom and Pop
