Our close medical call

So we looked at Sadie before we went to bed to discover a red rash around her belly button. We started going into medical mode trying to determine where the closest hospital was - as we lightly rubbed it we saw it coming off and forced a confession out of her that indicated she stuck her candy cane in her belly button earlier that day. Nice.

    I thought belly buttons were made for holding salt for your celery. Anyway, that's what my grandpa told me.

    I'm glad it wasn't anything serious. :-)

    She was really cranky on the phone today. Wonder how long that's been in there? Months...years, maybe?

    I did wonder where that extra piece of candy cane went when she left our house............Now we know...

    I am sure she enjoyed it. Maybe she was afraid the partridges would get it.....
