We were all off today as it is a bank holiday here in merry ole England. We did some outside chores before we took off for a place called Riffa Woods just about 20 minutes from our house and found some trails to walk on that was full of Blue Bells. They come out just for a few short weeks in the spring and literally cover the forest floor like a blue blanket. We enjoyed having a chance to see them on a nice day with few people in sight.
We finished up with some ice cream in our village of Knaresborough.
Oh my the bluebells were gorgeous.....Lucky there were no others doing the same thing.. Just your little family enjoying the sights and the flowers. I love the story of the rock also. The scenery was so pretty. Loved the woods and the streams. Nice relaxed time with the family.
