Day 7 we chilled at the house and enjoyed some more swimming.
Day 8 took us about 2 hours northwest to the town of Pisa and then later that day to Siena. Pisa was leaning a lot more than we expected it to be. It is a miracle it is still standing. The kids did our part to hold it up for awhile - while we were there.
DRIVING TO SIENA, ITALY
Siena is an interesting city where they have a famous horse race in the center of the city. The city sits high on a hill and is quite a hike to get up there. You can see a video of last year's race at the link below.

Netta is the owner of the house we rented and she made a special Tuscan meal for us our last night.

Those pictures of the tower of Pisa were impressive. The whole day looked wonderful especially the gelato!
