HOLIDAY INSPIRED ART

Sadie picked up her watercolours yesterday - googled a couple of pictures of Venice for inspiration and then created this little masterpiece.  

 

ITALY - DAY 10 - Arrivederci

Safe and sound back home after a 3 hour flight back to England.  One more gelato at the airport before we left. 

ITALY - DAY 9

We toured Cortona one last time on our last day before we made our way south to Rome. We drove about 2 hours south to Rome and had a special night tour of the Roman forum and the Colosseum at night.  There are only a handful of people allowed in the Colosseum at night so it was really neat to be inside when it was totally empty...you could almost hear the lions and chariots!

We took a wrong turn and ran into the Vatican on the way out of Rome.
