We spent the first weekend with my folks attending a play at Sadie's school, traveling to Wakefield (60 minutes away) to watch Dawson play on the A team for field hockey, and then back in Harrogate for the rest of the weekend. We did pick up a trampoline on ebay since ours had been blown over by the wind and wrecked a few months ago, so Pop and I traveled to York (40 minutes away) to pick it up and reassemble it for the kids. They seemed to enjoy having it back!
Mom and Pop -- MOM AND POP!! Now this is a heck of a way to say hello right here from next to the airport! I would have come and seen you off if ya took off in the afternoon following work at the American Airlines cargo office! Hope you two are enjoying your time with THE 5 ALIVE over there, for sure.
ReplyDeleteFYI- Broke my left hand on 12-22, healing up nicely now, haven't missed a moment of work. Gaining functionality back as I will be teaching my first fiber optics class to AT&T employees as they get off work starting next Monday for 5 weeks. I am teaching at their facility directly behind Price Chopper on 64th Street in Parkville (Tu-Th), and another class of them in Overland Park from 6:30 to 10:30 (M-W). Double blessings direct from Heaven as the financial woes were starting to set in!
Dave and Kelly, thank you SO MUCH for continually letting us feast our eyes on your lives! Every picture you take means a lot to me. I saw Leon, his wife, Darius, and their 2 year old last night in Liberty and asked them to come and join me at my table, which they did. It was a delightful conversation, and we shared some scripture together. They recalled how you played the drums with authority, and how nice your family is!
What is a good common, everyday time frame for me to call you all from here? Wishing I could send you all a candy bar bouquet so that you all would know the sweetness of getting to read these blogs!
I am certain that all of our KCI'er's would want me to say "HI' for them if they knew I was writing this just now. My ONLY regret is that is not on a Hallmark Card!
God's blessings with your every step everywhere you go...
